Oh oh... this does not say much about the really crucial internals.
Look at the 3870 iPaq. The obvious specs are almost the same as the 36xx
and 37xx but you would never be able to get the same kernel running
there since the 38xx own a special ASIC doing lots of important stuff.
Though I would like to believe it's that easy I fear it isn't :(

Still a long way to go.
First problem is getting a decent bootloader to run.

The GSM/cellphone part is mostly attached using one of the StrongARM
UARTs and are pretty straight forward GSM/cellphone modem devices which
can be controlled using AT commands.
