Subject: Annouce: GPE-Plucker
Hi!
I have just uploaded a first V0.1 of GPE-Plucker to unstable.
This is a GPE-ized version of the GTK2 Plucker viewer. It supports, like
the GTK2 viewer, reading of ebooks in the well known Plucker format.
This format is well known in the Palm PDA community and many many ebooks
as well as other text packages can be found on the net in this format.
This package opens up this world for GPE :)
Many thanks to Noli Sicad for pointing out the GTK2 version! Without
this hint I would have never come to the idea of doing this!
One caveat until now:
There is no file-chooser!
You have to start the viewer from a commandline like:
gpe-plucker <filename.pdb>
A chooser as well as additional features will be added soon.
Hav fun and happy reading!
