I don't have Java installed on my iPAQ, but I've just had a quick look
at the IpkgFind entries for the java1.3* packages. It looks to me like
the one that's just called java1.3 is a more or less complete set of
everything, and it's older (not in the unstable feed). The other
packages seem to be a more recent attempt to break Java up into smaller
packages. These packages are all only available from the unstable feed.

My guess is that you EITHER want the java1.3 package OR whichever of the
java1.3-xxx packages you require for your purposes. Presumably -libs
and -base are required, and probably -fonts too for GUI programs.
Since java1.3 is not in the 0.7.2/x feed (but is in 0.7/x and 0.7.1/x),
I'd say that it's either been accidentally dropped or is no longer
supported. The total size of the java1.3-xxx packages seems to be much
less than the 16MB of java1.3. I don't know if that means anything is
missing.
