In the never-ending search for peripherals for my pda, i ran across a
Navman 3450 GPS unit
(http://www.navmanusa.com/product.asp?pn=AA005215). Reviews for the
product vary from "it worked like a charm straight out of the box" to
"it was an utter piece of shit." Does anyone on the list have
experience using this GPS unit? Furthermore, could anyone share
experiences using GPS units along with familiar? I don't know if I can
just slap on a GPS unit and have familiar make use of it, and I'd hate
to buy something that can only be used in pocketpc os. Ideally I'd
like to use this unit along with Familiar to do more than just map out
a route; I'd also like to use it for pinpointing locations at which
wireless signals are received, as I test the security of my home's
wireless network. Cause wardriving and all that stuff is bad : )
Thanks,
Andrew
