looking around

Hi,

I'm Gentoo user, relatively new to GNU/Linux. I'm looking into buying a
PDA for school this fall. Most of the stuff I saw look either ugly or
unusable, but Familiar & GPE looks really cool. Anyways, I saw the list
of handhelds you guys support on the but I was a bit confused.

1. when you say iPAQ h3600 does that mean everthing for the h36xx
series. I couldn't find any one that was just h3600. Same with the other
HP ones.

2. I found the vendors' websites really hard to navigate. Are there any
particular vendors or handhelds you guys would suggest (as far as how
well Familiar/GPE supports it and such)?
