Bluetooth serial

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me to set up a serial link over
bluetooth so that I can use a terminal to connect to my iPaq hx4700.

Ideally what I'd be able to do is have the iPaq listening for any
bluetooth connections so that you can log in to it wirelessly. I
would like to run this from a script so that it doesn't require any
gui interaction to run. From what I've found I should be able to run

/etc/bluetooth/hciattach ## to start the bluetooth radio

hciattach /dev/ttyS2 any ## to create a bluetooth serial port

but this doesn't seem to be working for me.

If anyone can help I'd be massively grateful.
