| Opie-Eye crashes with pictures that are bigger then 1600x1200 or
1280x1024.

That must be the issue then. My camera is a mid range 5MP model (Kodak
C360 for $129 with a 4hr wait starting at 3a.m. Black Friday). So,
anything I take with default settings is going to be larger than this
(camera resets to the defaults every time the power is cycled). I was
hoping to be able to use my PDA to display photos after taking shots
without needing to get someplace for editing (ie, swap SD cards).

I'll certainly look more into opie-eye then, but won't have any time to
get into another project for a while. When I get time, I'll have a look
~ into that code. Anyone happen to know if this limitation is a problem
with all versions of opie-eye, or just the arm? If it's reproducible
cross platform, it might be a lot easier to get an x86 copy and debug
(yell at me if getting an x86 build will be more hassle than
cross-compiling).
