That is pretty much correct. There is no qte port of gnu classpath or
j2me that I know of.

Don't know, I know that j2me now has source available so it would be
possible to port j2me to any linux (I know that there is a hildon port
of j2me for the Nokia 770 and N800).

It is possible to have all of your stuff work on GNU classpath and
sablevm or jamvm on your desktop. Which ought to give you an even chance
of getting it to work on an iPAQ.

Oh, it will be bloated. But the stuff in the feeds is more like a full
blown j2se then j2me.
