How stable is 0.8.4/GPE on Ipaq 3950?

Hi, I've been away from the list for the last months after I got a dead
batery trying to use 0.8.2 on Ipaq 3950 and leaving battery drain for the
first time.

I bought a new battery and restored Pocket PC but I'd like to give it
another chance, so what are your experiences with new familiar releases and
Ipaq 3950?

Any battery/ASIC/learn cycles issues?
Mount/SD issues?
Suspend/Power off issues?
How many of you don't use your Ipaq for such long time that the battery is
drained and you can't even turn it on? Does it recharge and you have the
Ipaq back to life?

Please give me good news ;)
.. but is the bad news that I want to hear.
