Hello together!
This is a call for discussion :-)
Gpe will use usqld for data handling and management, i think this is much better than
every application using a propritary database backend. Most developers (including me)
will appreciate the sqlite-like interface. I took a look about some "standard"
database interfaces - they're all much too large for pda usage. The idea about this
was to make gpe compatible to well known interfaces in order to simplify software porting
and development.
What about adding a "standard-like" interface to usqld?
I took a look at odbc and gda - odbc really looks weird, about gda i don't know much.
Maybe we could use a gda subset?
I hope someone is interested in this matter.;-)
Greetings
Florian
