Hi,
maybe this is a stupid question that should not be send too
such a broad audience as three mailing lists, but I ask it
nevertheless:
Why do people work on different distributions for iPAQ and
Zaurus? And why is GPE only in Familiar, not in OpenZaurus?
Are there fundamental differences between the machines?
Even if so, Debian GNU/Linux has eleven supported platforms,
maybe Familiar and/or OpenZaurus could support two?
Background: I am new to the Zaurus and would like to replace
the OS with something really free, and I also would like to
have GPE and Python. Also, I have to write a GUI
application and don't want to learn Qt.
Sorry for the cross-posting, thanks for your comments!
Cheers!
