gpe-contacts: unable to load icons

GPE/familiar newb.

When I launch gpe-contacts, I just get three errors:

unable to load icon '/usr/share/gpe-contacts/pixmaps/frame.xpm'

with the same error for notebook.xpm and entry.xpm. I verified that those
files to exist:

~ # ls -l /usr/share/gpe-contacts/pixmaps/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 719 Nov 7 01:45 entry.xpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 719 Nov 7 01:45 frame.xpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 722 Nov 7 01:45 notebook.xpm

These were the permissions I found it with.

gpe-calendar and tasks have worked fine.

Running familiar 0.6.0 install that has been upgraded with access to
familiar-unstable feed. Compaq Ipaq 3635.

Any help would be great.
