Problems loading shared libraries

Hi,

I'm having some difficulty getting applications to run after upgrading to gpe2.
X is running, and I can run some applications (like rxvt-aa) just fine, but
seemingly gtk based applications (like those in gpe-apps, and dillo) break, with an
error like:

bash-2.05b# /usr/bin/gpe-calendar
/usr/bin/gpe-calendar: error while loading shared libraries: deakroymr_spew: cannot open shared object file: Error 9

Running ldd gives:

bash-2.05b# ldd /usr/bin/gpe-calendar
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-version.c: 229: _dl_check_map_versions: Assertion `needed ! = ((void *)0)' failed!

I did a full update and upgrade this afternoon, but still have the same problem.

Anyone with a guess as to what may be going wrong?

Thanks,
- Rajeev
