It's been suggested that we should find some time for GPE people to get
together face to face, in order to discuss weighty issues, fix bugs,
write new code, and all this good stuff. With releases of Familiar 0.7
and GPE 1.0 on the horizon, this seems like as good a time as any.
So, I tentatively propose that we hold a developer's meeting here in
Cambridge on the weekend of March 22-23. We should be able to book a
conference room in one of the colleges for the duration.
(For the benefit of anybody travelling from outside the UK, Cambridge is
roughly 100km north of London. The nearest large airports are Stansted
and Luton, both of which are fairly well served by European low-fare
airlines.)
Please drop me a line if you would be interested in attending, or if
you'd like to suggest alternatives dates/venues.
