There's no problem with getting a conference room, but I'm still waiting
to hear back from people about getting a room with a nice network
connection into it. (Anyway, in case of disaster Phil has volunteered a
backup venue.)
I'd encourage people to arrange flights now.
As Alan said, Stansted is good for cheap flights; it's also only half an
hour from Cambridge by train.

http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/leisure/accommodation/accommodation.html has
listings of places to stay in Cambridge. Other things linked from
http://www.cam.ac.uk/cambarea/ might also be useful. Please (everyone)
send me an email if there's any 'tourist information' you need.
I'm based at Darwin College, and it's a fairly likely venue -

- but nowhere in central Cambridge is very far from anywhere else.
