I haven't looked into GPE as much as I'd liked (though I will). While I
don't think it's possible to share that much code I think that lots can
be done to the general look&feel.

Also, GPE and GNOME should be fully syncable, so that all applications
on the GPE can sync against there counter-part in GNOME.

When it's possible to share implementation it should be done (imho),
GConf, ?session-management?, ?gnome-vfs?, ...

As I said, I haven't looked that much at GPE and some of these things
might have been discussed already.
