Size of GPE

Just curious - does anyone have any ideas as to whether GPE will shrink
or get larger in file size? The reason I ask is that I have an iPAQ
3600 and am running v0.7-pre4. After the initial install and the
postinst script, I have about 1.5 MB flash free. I removed a few
packages that I don't need, but still am very limited an unable to
install some packages I would like to have.

I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on this or if there is a
way around it before I invest a lot of time and effort into GPE. (As
much as I would like to, replacing the 3600 is not an option at this
point.)
