With the GPE 1.0 milestone nearly upon us, now would be a good time to
make sure that all the programs you maintain have been submitted to the
Translation Project for localisation.
To find out if a program has already been submitted for translation,
check the index at the TP site:

Submitting new packages is a fairly straightforward procedure. Make
sure all your strings are appropriately marked with _(), and that your
makefile includes Makefile.translation. Run "make extract-po" to
generate an up-to-date .pot file, and check it in. Run "make dist" to
create a source distribution archive, and upload it to the GPE ftp
area. (You may be able to use "make dist-upload" to do this
automatically.) Finally, send a mail to the translation coordinator
announcing the availability of the package.
