Huh... that's three wishes at once :)
First off, GPE is working quite well on my SIMpad. I have an installable
image that installs a slightly modified version of my iPaq GPE image on
the SIMpad with some tweaks to make better use of the bigger screen.
Install instructions? Downloads? Not yet, sorry. Our bandwidth is very
limited here and uploading such an image really takes ages. Hmm... I'll
see if I can put up something on the SIMpad sf.net site soon, OK?

Yes, the sf.net site is outdated (and BTW: Updateing sf.net pages is
also a major pain). Someone on the SIMpad list mentioned that he wanted
to take care of it... obviously he did not yet do so :(
