Having read the entire mail, there is an important point we should not forget:
Do not confuse WinCE2003 with PocketPC2003- the list posted mixes this up,
however it is the separatation as with Familiar and OPIE/GPE though MS hides
this from the user- the well known "no choice option".

GPE folks please complete the list yourself, as most points are OPIE only.

OPIE buttons settings which is extremely powerful

Not (yet) available under Linux

In general iPAQ<->phone interaction is missing under fam/opie/gpe

dto

OPIE is revamping this for 1.0

osearch searches the whole device that way, not only contacts

soon to come with opie-mailit

hopefully nothing to impove under OPIE

We have fam who need Wince ?

OPIE has proven to be stable longer than PPC did.

Here for long

Errmh- no idea for fam.

missing

Yes, MS had lots of things to do to support more hardware.
I believe the fam compatibility list is more impressing.

It would be a good idea for MS if they'd improve category support and
interoperability first- at least the OPIEs cat support is much more
sophisticated.

> -Application signing
Errm- did someone say TCPA and DRM ?

> -Ability to revoke all apps from a specific developer
Phew- "MS has noticed that they don't like John Doe any more and are
automatically revoking him from your device".
Brave new world.

Wasn't there a tool called "ipkg" which does this under Fam ?
Can't really remember ;-)

Propably most things are steps into the right direction though they are not
rather revolutionary what MS delivers here.
Nothing to really worry about imho.
