I preface this by saying I'm not sure if this is the best solution or
not but... It would be nice to have the time pref use the adjtimex call
and update/create/whatever the /etc/adjtime file so that the ipaq would
keep better time under GPE. I believe that this happens under OPIE so
example code should exist.
As a somewhat effective solution, I have a script that runs an ntpdate
if the network is up on suspend. It seems to work OK but anytime the
iPAQ needs to be reset, the time is off again. When I try to run hwclock
to set the hardware clock, I get this:
/etc # hwclock -w
hwclock: Could not access RTC: Device or resource busy
/etc #
The sa1100-rtc module is installed. Is this a known problem?
Thanks,
tjb
