If you'd like I can upload X packages from OpenZaurus which work fine
with the c700's touchscreen, the c700 keyboard with its 'fn' key
mappings and other goodness.

If you build matchbox from CVS ( UNSTABLE_V6 branch ), you can have a
panel at any size you want and the included matchbox applets will
scale up. Its currently a little sketchy but works mostly. MBDesktop
is also more aware of larger than ipaq displays. I hope to have an
ipkg this week, maybe safest to wait till then ;-)
GTK stuff like toolbar and font sizes can also be changed via
XSETTINGS and xst. I cant remember the exact 'keys' but Im sure
someone else on the list does :-)
The thing that sucks about X on the c700 is how slow it is in
landscape mode. It seems the only way this can be fixed is a rewrite
of how tinyX does its shadowfb 'stuff I dont really understand' or get
ATI to release some specs on its Imageon chip thats in the C700.

I think most icons probably already exist at 48x48. 128x128 seems a
little extreme and possibly wasteful to me.
