Good point, so that would be a syncing thing but into a different
category (really one way sync from your s.o's machine/caledar store, as
the data is conceptually not actually owned by you) this raises the
issue of read only categories (i.e. those that don't make sense for you
to edit the entries) again this is a syncing thing, so might have a
subset of a business address book or a local cache of LDAP entries or
something in your DB, if you wanted to edit those entries you would have
to move them to a local category or something)

so umm yeah, categories as views/caches to external data (a bit like
evolution uses for LDAP views) (i.e. configure a sync client to
occaisionally dump an LDAP search of 'personesque' objects into a
category)

probably a mis-feature for now though.

but relation to LDAP inetorgperson/organizationalperson/person/(is it?)
nsPerson schemas should be a consideration, or though i guess it is an
syncing thing again..
