That's really cool!
The queality of artwork is not depending on the time spent on it. It's the
idea that counts and personally I think this to be a VERY good one! It
include the G which has become the synonym for free and the hand which
stands for palm tops or PDAs respectively. Very well done! Just one idea:
Maybe the hadn should be a little bigger so that one can recognise it
better as hand. Despite that, for me this could become the official one.

Have you looked in the mailinglist archive?
There have been some proposals and even some lengthy postings about this.
Maybe we should collect them there until we have a final decision.
