I had a private discussion with Nils WRT the format for CVS tags.

Ok, but CVS won't allow tags to start with anything other than a letter.

Thus, the tag is now
 gpe-appmgr-0-06

(I thought everyone else would want to know; we can have a defacto
standard or something. If anyone has any problems with <module>-<version
~= s/\./-/g> then say so).
