Middle names are very uncommon in most of europe, AFAIK. Even people
who have them rarely use them.
Then we have countries with different naming conventions. More than
three names is very common in arabic countries. Other countries use the
family name first, the given name last.
It's really the same as addresses - a generic text field gives you the
most freedom and is the only thing guaranteed to work for everyone.
