Sounds nice ;)
Will give it a try ASAP...
BTW: Have you found the memory leak when SIGHUPping appmgr?

I already have but have not yet checked it in...
It also contains:
- Simple functions to sound a beep (a simple sine-wave tone generator, you can specify pitch and duration).
- Control functions for my rtcd (RTC deamon to control the RTC alarm)
- The already mentioned clone of gnome-exec which is called gpe-exec (surprise!)
Along with this libgpe I will also check in
- GPE-Alarm: Alarm managing application which also serves as a simple alarm clock
- GPE-DB: A generic SQlite database browser (and some day editor)
- GPE-WLANcfg: Basically a frontend to /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts
Alls this coming ASAP, promised ;)
If not tomorrow then the day after (i.e. wednesday)...
