First of all sorry I hate cross posting my self.
Currently the Opie project is evaluation the use of database. Actually which
kind of database we're going to use. For this we created the CROSS_REFERNCE
branch because one of the reasons of using a database besides speed and
memory usage is to be able to cross reference and find fast differen t pim
objects through the Opie interfaces( Contacts, Todo, Datebook ).
Currently we're creating a Database Table scheme and backends for our
interfaces. With this we're able to start evaluating a database.
When we decide to use libsql there is no problem to try to find a common table
scheme. I already talked to Philip Bundell about that.
But before we're able to talk real(tm) Opie needs to be database ready
regards Holger
