There's a central GPE CVS for the package source, but each component is
built as a separate package (with appropriate dependencies marked).

I don't think anyone's done any localisations yet, but
internationalisation should not have any GPE-specific difficulties.

We've been talking about what would need to be done to let us move to
GTK 2, but as far as I know no actual work on this has begun yet. GTK 2
would provide better internationlisation support, but for Spanish GTK 1
is fine.

While I'd say that there are obvious links with GNOME in intent, so far
there hasn't been anything much concrete in that direction.

Certainly I'd like us to have support for synchronisation with a GNOME
desktop as soon as possible.... ;)
