building gpe

Hello:

I pulled gpe from the cvs server and am interested in building it on my
intimate machine.

Anyone have any building tips? I haven't seen much docs in the source that
talks about building it. The few pieces that I've tried failed misererable.
What is gpe expecting you to have?

Is anyone here working on making gpe available under intimtate or just
familar?
