Nop, not *yet* ;)

From my point of view I just chose GNU-PE (i.e. GPE) because I wanted to
make it absolutely clear that this project is intended as a free
project. On the other hand I have no special relationship with the GNU
project. In fact I was already thinking about the same thing...
So on the buttom line: Yes, we should rename the project (which is quite
simple) to simply "GPE - GPE Palmtop Environment" ... nicely recursive
;)

Hmm ... IRC is currently not really an option for me since we do not
have a leased line internet connection :((

Oh, OK, I'll see what I can do.
Just one problem I see is that it will conflict with uuschedule since
both wil use the RTC.

Sure, if we get that far ;)
I would love to see a first good release!
I would like to start collecting ipkgs somewhere, and not in the
unstable feed; that's too messy. I would like to have an own FTP
directory for just "our" GPE packages. This gives a better overview.
Agreed?
In fact I have already built a busybox task-bootstrap and am currently
installing a new 3870 on top of just this so I see what we _really_ need
(when you install task-complete you won't see that).
I have just finished GPE-Screen updates so that it builds a proper
(hopefully) ipkg and uses the new GPE stylus property thing for pointer
hiding (cool thing!). Oh well... lot's of work!

Yeah, fine!
It would be really fun to see GPE in familiar :))
