(sorry if this is of topic and probably not very clever, as I do not know too much about fonts)
Could it be a good thing actualy to provide default fonts with GPE developement framework? So that developers use that ones through transparent interface...
Requirement could be,
3 sizes (small, normal, large)
with flavor (normal OR bold) AND (regular OR italic)
then some kind of:
GdkFont * gpe_font_load(gchar * gpe_font_name);
with gpe_font_name = [small|normal|large]-[normal|bold]-[regular|italic]
(or is it just using a gpe-gtkrc styles?)
