Salut Sylvain,
I am French indeed (though living in the UK), I'm sure you could tell
from my accent ;)
Yes you were right. It was sort of a firewall problem. Took me some time
to figure it out because all my other devices (including my Nokia 770)
worked fine in this setup. I think there are some unimplemented features
in the WiFi driver by SDG that prevented some routing somewhere.
I am very pleased with my setup and demonstrated GPE this morning to
several HP colleagues. They were all impressed.
I posted some screenshots on flickr ^^

If possible I would like to compile my own kernel. Is there a place
where all the applied patches are gathered? Would be neat to have a git
tree ;)
Cheers,
-Julien
