It has obviously been some time since I had a look at the uClibc pages
;) It has evolved quite well and their list of applications running
without modifications is quite impressive! Just one of the most
important apps has to be tweaked: XFree ;)

So: Is anyone willing to compile us a version of TinyX for uClibc?
I would love to try uClibc+TinyX+GPE...
Maybe it is really worth switching to uClibc.

That's why I am voting for busybox for quite some time now and made
        http://www.handhelds.org/~nils/task-bootstrap-2.4.18-rmk3-hh14-nf.jffs2
though familiar 0.6-pre1 has this already too.

I think this will still need some time to evolve to a level of
completeness so that we could use for GPE. From what I understand also
GTK, which version ever, would have to be tailored to it too.
