I haven't seen that since I upgraded to gpe-appmgr from unstable.
/etc/menu-methods/gpe-appmgr was fixed

I don't think the ipk contained any post* files, as I had to run update-menus
by hand. I did get that dont_run_appmgr thing too, but my ~/.gpe/gpe-appmgr was
rewritten without the recent list turned on

I think he wrote /etc/keyctl.conf and/or /etc/keylaunchrc. I don't even have
buttond installed, but I figured I'd try out that config.

Yep, one "swallowed", one with gpe-appmgr.

Yea, but I think it needs an apply button or something. I switched themes like
10 times in like 3 seconds...

I agree...but I found that it's squashed in portrait mode. So, I went to my
mmenu->config->rotation->landscape left, and nothing. Somehow, my xrandr isn't
responding, not even from the command line. I'm not sure if it's related or I
just need a reboot or something.
