        I'm not an HP Calculators' fan nor an expert programmer, but I'll try
to see if I can be of any help sometime.

        Yesterday, I downloaded gpe sources from CVS and began to study the
possibility of a traslation into spanish. I also did (almost complete) a
spanish layout for xkbd, but at this moment (I hope not for too long) I
lack of basic knowledge about character sets, internationalization in
general, special character support in fonts, etc.

        On the translation side, I began to translate gpe-calendar po file and
had a look at other apps. I noticed not all the apps have gettext
support, which from my point of view should be fixed as soon as
possible.

        I think there was another spanish guy around here and he was also
interested in the localization. Maybe we can coordinate a joint effort.
