Thanks, Philip. I did try installing libgcc1 and I indeed get a nice GPE
startup now.
Given that I installed task-x, task-complete and gpe packages several
times (for the first 3-4 times of repeatedly callin ipkg install
task-complete, for instance, I would each time get some more packages
installed. Finally it said that it's installed ok), I suspect there may be
some inconsistencies, or things gpe doesn't need.
So, what is the "canonical" way to install familiar_0.6+X+GPE on a
handheld? I read the installation document
(http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.6-pre1/install/H3600/install.html)
but it's not clear what to install (after bootgpe, that is) when one goes
"the GPE way".
