The code in CVS is Nicolas Pitre's implementation (unless I'm
totally wrong), and Dilb's code is different. And of course, there
is the xiph.org implementation (tremor) now too.
From #handhelds.org:
18:00 < cmarqu_> Dilb: is
http://dilb.blablanux.org/ipaq/fr/software/oggvorbis_SA1110.html
related to the Pitre implementation?
18:00 < Dilb> cmarqu_: no
18:01 < cmarqu_> Dilb: Good. That's what I gathered.
18:01 < Dilb> cmarqu_: but
18:01 < Dilb> cmarqu_: now, as tremor is free, NP and I are working on it
18:02 < cmarqu_> Dilb: so everybody should follow tremor basically?
18:02 < Dilb> I've a version 0.6 now, but it's only the tremor
decoder + some tweakings, I didn't spend time to recompile ogg123
with it (I need to change some parts)
18:02 < Dilb> cmarqu_: I see really no reason to not follow it
18:03 < Dilb> it's faster than my old version (at least with my
settings)
18:03 < cmarqu_> Good. Is it okay if I post this small conversation
to the GPE mailing list?
18:03 < Dilb> no pb
18:03 < cmarqu_> Thanks.
18:04 < Dilb> I will workon it again soon, to integrate tremor in
libxine for opē (no complain from Harlekin so far :o))
Cheers,
Colin
