I note the alarm functionality is needed by iPAQ apps generally, and
there is nothing GPE specific....

So, if possible...

Please package it independently from GPE...

Keep it independent of GPE, so that you don't have to be using
GPE to use it...,

And don't call it gpe-alarm (so that we don't have silly political
nonesense over a name).
