./Xsession-gpe.d/25dotfiles is probably the correct place to start
it. When you first run that, it look for $HOME/.mbdock, and creates a
default one that includes a reasonable starting set of miniapps.
I've removed /etc/X11/Xsession-gpe.d/*xstroke and that makes me happy.
