2007-01-24: Due to the growing demand for the port I've put up a snapshot of the current development kernel. The port is still very young and there might be a lot of changes to come, so it doesn't make sense to submit it for inclusion into the handhelds.org kernel CVS just yet. Maybe after cleaning up the code a bit and attaining at least full "C-class" hardware support. Feel free to test the kernel, but don't expect too much yet

2007-01-25: Some minor improvements like SD/MMC card detection and more or less UDC (PDA as USB client) support, and a big step: A working touchscreen
The necessary TSC2101 driver that's currently in the handhelds.org CVS is broken, but there's a patch by its maintainer Richard Purdy with a more recent version. I'm busy the next couple of days, so it will take some time until I can clean up and release the new code. -- WolfgangKempin
2007-02-11: New binary package available for download. This release finally includes touchscreen support. Additionally there's a brand new PCMCIA/CF card driver I've just completed a few hours ago. Still busy cleaning up the code and doing other things though, so no patch set for the time being. -- WolfgangKempin
2007-05-17: No real news right now because I'm currently quite busy with other things. Just wanted to show you that the project isn't dead

2007-05-22:
New cross-compilation toolchain available that should fix some problems with missing symbols in the previous release. Tested on Gentoo and Debian 3.1. -- Wolfgang Kempin
