I'm Andy Oliver, a Java and Linux user and developer. I bought an iPaq 3765 in January 2002 and installed Linux/Familiar as soon as I got my hands on a serial cradle.

I have a web page describing my experiences with Linux on the iPaq at:

Hello Andy. I have similar interests. I also have an iPaq 3765. I have loaded the Familiar 0.51 and I am evaluating where to go from here. I would like to try some Java applications. I have been trying to bring up your web site but it keeps timing out. If you need a place to host some things, let me know and I will set you up on my server. Walker. (wh@datacrest.com-nospam)

Hello Andy. I am looking at buying a iPAQ H3970 and installing Linux onto it. Would you know of and information that can help me to do this? I have been researching for a couple of days and would appreciate any help at all. anjanietconnelly@hotmail.com. Thanks.

I have created a site with software for Linux on the iPaq and my experience installing Familiar on an iPaq 3765 from a Linux laptop.
