Fully agreed!

I think we could not have done it in the way and time we did it with LTG
on hh.org. The main maintainer of hh.org is George and to all problem
reports we sent to him he always replied that he will try to fix the issues.
This led us to the assumption that no other administrators would be welcome.
Please get me right, I honor that fully! He runs that site and if he
decides that he wants tighter control over it, for what reason ever,
then I do accept this without moaning.
But it did not solve our problem.
So we thought, if open source projects do work well with a collaborative
approach for splitting the work load, why not also site adminitration?
So we came up with LTG.
And up until now, it does indeed work pretty well.

Absolutely!
Though it is not that strictly mobile Linux oriented I think it is
enough to fit nicely.
The process is dramatically simple:
- Go to http://projects.linuxtogo.org and create yourself a GForge account
- After the account is activated, aso using GForge propose a new project
As simple as this.
Usually new projects are approved by one of the admins within a day.
After that you have access to mailinglists, a homepage and of course
CVS/SVN.
To create Wiki content you have to create yourself an extra Wiki account
(sorry, this is not (yet) unified) and simply create a new page.
Hmm... anything forgotten? Don't think so...
Ah, yes, again, you and everyone else in the domain of portable/mobile
Linux is of course welcome to register his/her own new project there. It
is open for everyone as long as the "mobile Linux" is a correct
attribute for the project.

Good luck that the fire does not come to you!

Sure, you're welcome!
Productive and neutral discussions are welcome.
