Re: Building a new home for GPE

Hello,

things take a while but we have the basic services up and running at linuxtogo.org.

The CVS repository is converted to SVN and open for public use.
Both anonymous checkouts and developer access is possible. More details can be
found here:

I have set up a new general GPE mailinglist and one for translation updates.
A commit mailinglist exists as well but is not active so far.

We have a download section that is structured in the same way like at
handhelds.org offering all current and historic releases. It is located here:
http://gpe.linuxtogo.org/download/
The release targets (dist and source) in SVN are updated to use the new
loaction.

LTG bugzilla is set up with a (hopefully) complete list of GPE bits and
versions in a separate section. Please report missing ones to the mailinglist.

The website is moved to http://gpe.linuxtogo.org. The information there is
updated to reflect the new environment and to get rid of some outdated stuff.

Some open issues are:
- Fix the "tag" targets to mark releases in SVN.
- Make WebDAV access to SVN work.
- Make the commits mailinglist work.
- Write and publish an announcement.
- Clean up the SVN repository.
- Mark the CVS repository as obsolete.

Everyone is invited to join the new project and use the new mailinglists and all
the other services. Any help fixing the open issues is really welcome.
