[iPAQ] Native build environment

Hi !

I recently (yesterday) installed v0.17 on an iPAQ and have been trying
to find some build environment that works, preferably by mounting
an nfs-partition on /usr/local. I have tried a couple of rpm:s without
much success. Some seem to be built for /usr and using those
(under /usr/local) only makes cpp fork infinitely.
Found another (with root under /usr/local) that did complain on
glibc (it nedded 2.1.3). Yet another, although arm and elf, would not
execute ("no such file or directory").

Is any good solution to this problem available ?
